Marvia, an international tech scale-up in the B2B SaaS industry, is on an exciting growth path. As we are expanding in the US market, we're looking for a new ‘Marvian’: a Product Owner. You will play a crucial role in shaping and fine-tuning our product strategy, steering product value, and progressively realising our ambitious vision.
At Marvia, we empower customers in over 90 countries, including notable names like Domino's Pizza, KidStrong, ZEISS, Toyota, and Steve Madden, to amplify their brand’s influence through the collective efforts of their members.

Our expansion into the US market three years ago was a major milestone for Marvia. In this time, we've significantly grown our presence and gained momentum in this competitive market. Are you a Medior Product Owner with experience in a B2B SaaS environment? Are you more than familiar with managing the product backlog, and collaborating within a cross-functional and result-driven scrum team? Are you a straightforward communication facilitator among stakeholders and are you ready to take on significant responsibilities?

Own the product strategy: Engage with key stakeholders (from product marketing and customer success to sales and UX) to craft a captivating Product Vision aligned with business objectives. Recognize market trends and opportunities to ensure that Marvia stays ahead of the curve.
Lead the Backlog and Roadmap: Lead discovery and roadmapping sessions using Agile methodologies, especially Scrum, to translate the Product Vision into milestones. Prioritize the backlog based on customer needs, market demand, and business goals.
Assure a collaborative championship approach: Collaborate with key stakeholders (e.g. development, marketing, sales and customer success teams) to drive successful product launches and iterate based on user feedback. Promote an innovative mindset and support for the Product Vision throughout the organization.
Go beyond User Stories: Write clear and compelling user stories that capture the true value proposition for users. Collaborate directly with the development team to ensure they build the right things at the right time maintaining a profound contextual understanding. Manage the correct overflows of stories among your team: don’t let the team burn out!
3-4 years of experience as a Product Owner in a B2B tech-driven environment
Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree in Business, Tech or related fields
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Dutch language skills are a plus.
A strong believer in collaboration as the key to success, you are assertive, and decision-driven
You have a deep understanding and proven experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum made an asset!
Your outstanding interpersonal skills, and stakeholder management skills, allow you to build strong relationships and gather valuable feedback and make you a real problem-solver
Experience working with near-shore development teams would be nice to have
Scrum certifications are beneficial, but not required.
Full-time (40h) position, with 60% of the time spent in our Amsterdam office.

Compensation: €4,700 - €5,000 gross per month
